Yes. I've using a traditional medicine, but it is for a long time ago. I have using it because I don't like to see a doctor and I didn't like to take any all kinds of medicines. It is like when I had a fever, i just drink some of coconut water to reduce a feverish and i also use a water which a mixed with some leaf of hibiscus. And it is effective to me. When I grown up, occasionally use a traditional and modern medicine. It is because, for me, if I still strong to fight the sick especially fever and any sick of same type I don't want to use any treatment.
Actually I know all of us known that the medicine especially the modern medicine such as capsule and pill content some drugs and it can effect to our body not for this time but for the future. Here I want to suggest all of us don't take many of modern medicine because sometimes we also will use the treatment and medicine but we don't know when we must use it.
Actually I think I never use the traditional medicines but my mother has used the traditional medicines to cure the disease. My mother has diabetes and high pleasure. Every day she must eat the pills that modern medicines but sometimes she also drinks herbs likes’ akar kayu and Bunga Kemuting Cina for decrease the diabetes and high pleasure. The herbs must boiled first before we eat the herbs. So, the result is good and positive because even she eats everything or not controls her eating but the disease still can control when she eats the herbs. Besides, the herb cannot eat often and just eat when appointments have with doctor especially or anytime we want to eat.
An addition, my mother also uses the traditional medicines for beauty. She knows how to make a cold powder that the ingredient is rice only. To make the cold powder, make a long time and must clean from dirty. The cold powder is good for your skin and the result also positive. She also never used the any product of beauty. So, I think the cold powder good for our skin.
Jamaiyah, actually I also have use the coconut water for cure Chicken Pox and the way is so effective. Sometimes, when my fevers not reduce, my mother can give me to drink the coconut water. Beside that, I also have used the leaf hibiscus to cure my headache and I agree with Jamaiyah because it is effective to me. On the other hand, I also use the leaf hibiscus for hair health because it is can make your hair straight and the same time soft. So the traditional medicines are good for some diseases because if we have chronic diseases we cannot use the traditional medicines as a first medical. It is because can give harm for the person and the diseases.
Traditional treatment?of course i have use it before..my parent did not encourage us with modern treatment..usually they try to use traditional medicine first..normally the result is better than use modern treatment.As everyone know,people whom live in far from the city usually did not have enough money to get treatment from doctor..so they used another alternative to cure the sickness.They use natural material surround them.I still remember when i got fever in my childhood,my father will treat me only used air asam jawa.Every night he will put air asam jawa at my forehead to relieve heat.Even it make a time to reduce but the effective is so convince.My mother also use traditional medicine to reduce her high pleasure.The herb will boiled first like Zafirah said.The way that my mom use same as Zafirah's mother.My mom still see the doctor but she use traditional medicine as additional way to reduce his sickness.The result is encouraging.I believe that traditional medicine have a lot of nuritional.People who want to use traditional medicine and afraid to see the doctor must working hard to find and make your own medicine.In this new era of globalization,people did not have enough time to use traditional medicine.They prefer to see the doctor to get the treatment.For them,it will make their routine become easier.I think,now the disease is different compare long time ago.Many disease are dangerous like cancer,heart disease,dengue fever and other need modern treatment.Traditional medicine are not suitable.
I want to share with you all that I already use the honey to cure my cough and it is effective to me. I just mix the honey with an extraction lemon and eat a spoon every day until the cough lost. I also eat honey before breakfast everyday to my healthy. It is because, honey have more benefit and nutrients like vitamins, iron, naturism, calcium and the other that can make our body always healthy. My friends also eat the honey and she said, honey can help build intelligent to our mind. So, we can focus to study and give more energy to finish all the work.
I never use traditional medicine to relieve stomach ache. My grandmother suggested that I eat guava young shoots. It is because guava leaf bitter and relieve pain, especially when the diarrhea. Other than guava leaf, my mother had given me tea while diarrhea. Tea should be bitter and made me difficult to spend the tea. However, the tea is effective and the pain also disappeared.
To eliminate the effects of acne on the face, we can use cinnamon skin. I used cinnamon skin to remove scars, and it appears indeed very effective. cinnamon skin during use, kite skin will feel our heat, such as chili affected.
